Chandpur District Commissioner Kamrul Hasan said, we need to focus more on quality education to build a smart Bangladesh. Even if we get good quality 4/5 storey buildings in educational institutions, the quality of education is not proper. Students are moving away from textbooks.

On Sunday (January 29), the current chairman and members of No. 4 Shahmahmudpur Union Parishad of Chandpur Sadar Upazila said the above words at the five-year development plan and book unveiling ceremony on the occasion of 1 year anniversary. He also said that a five-year plan has been taken up in this union. Which usually no other union officially declares like this. If the five-year development plan is made, the people can know about the problems and development of the area.

He said, your UP Chairman is very knowledgeable and UP Secretary is a very efficient person. He has been working with the members including the chairman of the Union Parishad to build a smart Bangladesh announced by the current government. You see now all work can be done through a smart phone. So now we need that generation, the generation where every person will be skilled in everything. Finally, he expressed satisfaction with the infrastructure and services of the Parishad.

Nurul Islam Nazim Dewan, Public Relations Department's Promotion Program Director for the Development of Rural Community, Mohammad Omar Farooq Dewan, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sanjida Shahnaz, Chishti College. Chairman of the governing body and founding editor and publisher of Daily Chandpur Khabar Patrika Sohail Rushdi.
